Math
First-graders will begin Unit 11 “Comparing Numbers” on January 4, 2021 using their new 1B Math workbooks and textbooks. Students will begin Unit 11 by reviewing how to compare sets of objects through the use of picture cutouts. They will be using the phrases “more than” and “less than” to describe the sets and familiarize them with the concepts “more” and “less.” Students will also be able to compare numbers without pictures by the end of the unit.
May each of you experience the joy and peace of this special season of the year. Wishing you health, goodness, and beauty in the New Year! Best of wishes!
